Golden Globes' Golden Girls

I love awards season. Especially since I live in the host city, it's hard not to love it. I love driving past all the hard workers rolling out the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton. I love listening to my stylist friends dish about their behind-the-scenes stories (yes, Amal Alamuddin IS really that gorgeous in person). I love when I catch a glimpse of my industry friends on the pre-awards shows. And of course, I love ogling at all that couture.

That being said, here are my faves from this year's golden girls at the Globes.

Emma Stone in the golden globe wearing Misa Jewelry

Oh, that Emma Stone. How chic, cool and comfortable is she in this Lanvin jumpsuit? And that butt bow = perfection. I want to add a butt bow on all of my pants now. Just put a bow on it.

Jemima Kirke in the golden globe awards

Jemima Kirke could have Saran-wrapped herself and I still would have put her on my best-dressed list, because she just oozes ultra coolness. The red-carpet rebel really went up my Women I Want To Be Friends With list though with this Rosie Assoulin's metallic caplet crop paired paired with a flowing white skirt. I wish I could have worn this outfit as my third outfit change at my wedding.

Dakota Johnson in the golden globe awards

You can probably guess by now I was feelin' last night's liquid silver. Dakota Johnson, you looked like supermodel meets "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" mercury and I loved every single bit of this Chanel number, especially that frayed-looking high slit.

Sienna Miller in the golden globe awards

There were a LOT of plunging V necklines last night, but Sienna Miller's Miu Miu stood out from all of the V's. The deep neckline of this dress isn't TOO sexy; it's a perfect mix of vintage-inspired, modern, feminine and, of course, sexy.

Felicity Jones in the golden globe awards

I love how Felicity Jones always brings a touch of unique to the red carpet. Whether it's in the form of a structured high neckline or petite button accents along her backside or a new hair color, she always brings something different and you can tell she and her stylist really care about the little details. I appreciate that. She looks like a detailed dream in this Christian Dior gown.

Julianne Moore. in the golden globe awards

I don't think I've ever posted a #wcw pic on Instagram, because it would get very boring and very repetitive with every week's post being of Julianne Moore. How could you not crush on her when she looks divine in everything like this Givenchy custom couture with grey ombre feathers? #wcjm

Naomi Watts in the golden globe awards

And last but not least, the best jewels of the night goes to the always beautiful Naomi Watts with that incredible Bvlgari serpent choker that stole the show from her also stunning Gucci gown. Jewelry just completes, and oftentimes makes, in this case, the outfit. Did I ever tell you I love jewelry?

xx Misa
